Toronto ABA Therapists - ABA Academy improves the lives of children affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other developmental disorders through individualized programs based on the science of applied behaviour analysis (ABA), an evidence-based behaviour therapy. In addition to providing one-to-one ABA therapy in home based, community based and center based settings, we offer social skills group programs and parent training. Autism impacts many areas of life, so our ABA therapy experts offer a variety of treatment and support services to help children reach their full potential. ABA Academy staff possess in-depth knowledge of the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and with Supervisors who are Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), which abide by the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysis. All staff meet Ontario Autism Program requirements. We have designed our programs with children in mind: Intensive Behavioral Intervention, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Skills Program, Camp. We provide ABA therapy for children in the Greater Toronto Area including Markham, North York, Toronto, Richmond Hill, and Scarborough. At ABA Academy, we now offer direct assessments with your child without registering for a program or alternatively to gain more knowledge about your children in between regularly scheduled assessments. Intensive Behavioral Intervention (IBI) is an evidence-based treatment using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Its intensive approach demonstrates remediation of the core symptoms of autism, developmental disorders, and/or used to develop new skills.

It can target many social significant goals including reducing aggressive behaviors, improving language skills, enhancing social behavior, reducing self-injuring behavior and toileting. Progress is tracked through many data driven measurement tools. All IBI programs require a minimum 6-month commitment. (Program options will be based on the needs of the child and upon clinical recommendation) We offer programs across the Greater Toronto Area. Home-based: in the child's or caregiver's home. Community-based: in schools, daycare, nursery schools and various community settings. Centre-based: Our centre-based IBI Program is like attending a school or daycare with a heavy emphasis on 1 to 1 programming time between our Ontario Curriculum Programs. Location will be based on the needs of the child. The Ready Set Go Program is an evidence-based treatment using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. The Ready Set Go program is designed for children who require 1 to 1 autism intervention without breaking the bank. The program is like an intensive therapy program in a small group setting with a low 1:2 or 1:3 teacher to student ratio.  This provides a high level of support for children to interact and learn new skills with guidance. Its intensive approach demonstrates remediation of the core symptoms of autism and/or used to develop new skills.  It can target all socially significant skills including reducing aggressive behavior, improving language skills, enhancing social behavior, self-help skills, school-readiness, reducing self-injuring behavior and toileting. Progress is tracked through many data driven measurement tools.

OUR SCHOOL-READINESS. This program is designed for those who require extra support from a typical public school environment or simply need a little something to help transition into the mainstream public school system. Our goal is to help children with autism gain the necessary group/classroom instruction skills required for a public school setting.  It mimics a school activities and the curriculum in a small teacher to student ratio of 1:4/5 children to provide a high level of support for children with autism to acquire new skills.
